Smooth honey color skin.
Dipped in traces of her coffee-tinted kin.
Brown sugar curves that are too sweet to handle.
Hazel brown eyes that light up the room like candles.
Plump full lips sweet as candy.
They envy her!
Because her beauty surpasses that of jewels.
Her scent is that of cocoa butter.
Her hair telling thousands of untold stories.
On her head she wears a crown of memories.
The sun lays on her skin, leaving soft kisses
Her honey color skin glistens from the sun's caresses
The moon smiling upon her as her honey skin glows
She is black
Unabashed, she flaunts her hips
Swaying her waist to the rhythm of her feet.
Nursing a generation on her thick thighs.
Her voice sending echoes to a world where love and hate meet.
Basking in the glory of temporary highs
I see her.
I hear her.
I feel her.
She is a honey queen!
