After War Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

After War

All the bridges
Don't exist
Anymore.

Buildings
Houses and huts
Are destroyed.

No more
Commerce
Whatsoever.

Factories
That produced goods
Raised to ground.

Bombs
That exploded
Are a relief.

Those that did not
Are future's
Nightmare.

People are dead
In great
Numbers.

Others fled
To unknown
Lands.

What's left
Chaos
And confusion.
