Again Poem by Leah DeCresce

Again

I could make these subtle moves all night,
But you're here, and I need to have you.
As the tempo rises, I make my move.
My hand on your leg, you are captured beneath
Me as I make my way to your mouth.
I claim you to the music, make you mine for just this moment as I steal your breath,
And feel your soul.
I need more.
You follow my lead, the realization of what is to come finally dawns on you.
You didn't know you'd been wanting this all night until just now.
I take you to the bed, and once your mouth is on mine,
The world seems to stop.
Time has no place here as we make our conquests,
Hands sliding to these familiar foreign territories.
I tease you, but it only builds the urgency,
I need to have you.
I struggle with the buttons,
But now it is time.
We become entangled, my legs around your waist, your hand between my legs.
My hands on your back, my mouth on your neck, we breathe the rhythm.
We synchronize,
You give me what I need,
I rise up to take it.
I hear the dull hum of the music in the background as your mouth seeks mine and my hands reach their way around your neck.
You are diligently working the rhythm, and I am nearing the edge.
I moan my warning as the waves beneath me swell to a tidal wave, the music rises-
And then I crash

The waves are all around me, enveloping my body.
I pull you into it, you feel the explosion of water surrounding us and you let out your breath,
And give into me, we are lost at tide, lost in this moment.
And then we collapse, falling backwards into the sea of pillows,
And breathe heavily, separately.
We pass a few moments in silence,
Until I curl into your arm, press a kiss into your neck,
Smile coyly at you as I ask,
'Again? '
