Against Stale Current Poem by Jonathan ROBIN

Against Stale Current

It seems essential to unite
to urgent questions answers which
may trigger links to dream themes, might
prepare fulfillment shared and rich.

Unused to feeling understood,
sharp insight into others bores,
trees sees, sure draws, ignores not wood
nor would, for blinkers truth abhors.

Sense of pure purpose has withstood
positions frozen, chosen doors
swing open ever, inner good
scorning pride, bias, rotten cores.

Deceptive calm. Tried tenets try
to analyze and to translate
life's unity so none fight shy
of fighting prejudice and hate.

Against stale 'current', with the stream
of light and life few soar serene,
scarcely surprising guarded gleam
still stays unshared...
