Agape Poem by Richard Antwi

Agape

Mr Fox lived near Green street
Leaves his hideout to hunt on the street any time
Spared no creeping or flying creature
To devour
On a very hungry day,
He was lucky to meet Ms Squirrel
Who knew her life had ended!
Swiftly but surely
Ms Squirrel was grasped
Astonishingly, Mr Fox said to her:
‘I'm not eating you'
Because I love you!
True Love knows no ‘enemy'.
