Age Does Not Always Bring Wisdom Poem by Francis Duggan

Age Does Not Always Bring Wisdom

He believes he is one with great sexual appeal
A gift to woman kind that's how he does feel
A few silly women tell him he is great
And his swollen ego they further inflate,
An air of self importance he seems to command
As he and his young lover walk hand in hand
On the track through the park in the evening sunshine
The smug look on his face tells the World she's all mine
He is sixty eight and she is twenty five
But viagra it does enhance his sexual drive
He thinks that she loves him but he has got it wrong
Her love of his money than for him is more strong
His lover the same age as his eldest grandson
Age does not always bring wisdom when all is said and done.
