Age Old Why? Poem by Ima Ryma

Age Old Why?

We travel round the world, we do.
And in a group we often go.
So many o'er time wish they knew
What only each of us do know.
Some times, some places we do reach
A point from where we cannot turn.
Most often happens on a beach.
Answers for why, so many yearn.
What motivates us all to be
Placing ourselves in harm's way?
Many ask the questions, and we
Have the answers but do not say.

The whales do beach, the whales do die.
Even Aristotle asked why!
