Aged Boundaries Poem by Dennis Go

Aged Boundaries

Drearily, he exhaled.
Letting go the smoky fumes
Kept by lagged nostrils
Outdated.

Rustlingly, pages open.
Eyes roaming the sheets.
A sly grin beguiles
The olden heart.

Caffeine cup in hand,
The aroma revolves solemnly -
Replenishing troubled ties
With loneliness.

Lines on his temple
Deepens itself the worth
Of burdened adulthood
Frolicking away.
