Ahasuerus Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Ahasuerus

Once upon a time in Africa,
With snakes in the bushes to respect my muse;
And like Ahasuerus my friend with warmest regards,
But i have to post you a letter on this love.
My mind is made up and Africa is my home,
For the key words of the animals are like my muse;
And with joy and peace to teach the world,
But my respect is also for you all out there.
