Alabaster Jar Of Mary Of Bethany Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Alabaster Jar Of Mary Of Bethany

Rating: 5.0

Mary of Bethany
had anointed
Jesus with
precious perfume
from her
alabaster jar,
in readiness
for His fast
approaching
crucifixion.

Judas had left
to betray his
Master, and
Jesus had instituted
the Lord's Supper,
following that
final Passover
meal with the
disciples He loved.

Yes a good preparation this Easter season. Are we ready to play our part he wished to inscribe in our life. Are we worthy a vessel of honor like Mary if Bethany or we chose to be Judas in long run.
