Alarm Call Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Alarm Call

Alarm call

Recently saw a film
On crows!

They live in colony
And clan
Both local and worldwide.

If local they welcome
The guests that pass, arrive.

Each informs and alarms:
'Here comes enemy …'
With the signs…

We as human are selfish
And no doubt
Enemy to us is our own kind
I wonder if cockroach is like us!

Is cockroach evil form of mankind?

I kill one after one
And still
Unaware they enter to my range
As if peace is around!

Selfishly?
Deaf, blind?
Or are dumb?

Forgive me cockroaches
I know of need, hunger! ! !
