Alba: Alpha & Omega. Poem by Kieran John J McGuigan

Alba: Alpha & Omega.

One inseparable entity,
a novelty
of will
entangled upon the elements
continuums regenerating

=(tenaciously dismissive inspiration
seeks ever indefinable domains) =

I tried, but could not tame
the shifting substance
through the vortex
elusive streaks in a cryptic portal
Quick,
revealed, soon gone again
Whirling stars through the stellar spiral

this minute makes an infinite moment
of immeasurable desire
in beauty's constant longing
for expansion.

Tonight,
Outside,
Across horizons gold azure
Dusk unfurls her peacock silhouettes
as Phoenix flares his flambeaux wings.
yawning like a Dahlia
Inside,
She lays aside me sleeping
Her hazel hair is warm as Arabian wind
And never in all our frenzy
Have we known of this tranquillity.
