Alive Poem by Riley Choma

Alive

To know what you have and appreciate things before they are gone, be a minimalist.

Remove ties to experience things you would otherwise have missed.

Worry not, and instead take on the title ‘spontaneous.'

To understand yourself and others, be a person instead of a screen; live in real time.

Look up to see the things that you miss while looking down.

Stress not, and instead take on the title ‘alive.'
