As You Once Were Poem by Riley Choma

As You Once Were

Rating: 3.5

Breath and release like the wind, not with destruction, but rather creation.

Exhale your words and throw yourself out, and not out like gone, but like forward.

Move forward like the seasons do, knowing that each change brings something new, something beautiful.

Flow out waves from your ducts like the sea does, and not like a job as does the moon, but rather because you are ready.

Step barefoot in the sand and leave an impression, not in the literal sense, but as artists do.

Be born again as you once were.
