Alive Poem by janice etienne

Alive

Rating: 4.5

The ocean rushes into your head
as you believe with all the truth you have left
and your mind tainting away into your emptiness, where know one is home
fading into the darkness till you feel alone
trying not to drown in the black sea of forgotten souls
unfolding into your mind an ocean so still, so cold

Leave where you'll be above
escape from the nightmares you've been dreaming of
Let the sunlight's warmth heat the chills through your bone's
Run somewhere, where your not alone

Fly someplace to the heavens, a paradise of gold
Run through the fields of lily's and magnolia's, Into the imaginary land's
untold

Letting the laughter and the gentle hands of an angel pull you into the sunlight
where you feel the gift, the reward of being ' ALIVE'

sometimes I believe that heaven is just a name for ur prize for being alive.... then I think u go to a place w/ no air and u pass out and dream forever happiness of course unless u r a bad person....good persons think good thoughts and bad think bad thoughts and when people dream, their thoughts are invovled(my theory) .
