A Light Poem by janice etienne

A Light

Rating: 5.0

A blackened cloud
an unstable ground nor sound
a hollow space
and empty place
emerging from an unsightful night a light

Circles of land and blinding stars, billions of our own
just so at night we can never be left alone
Creating itself a milky way, planets so unique
many more in creation as we speak

For you are the center of gravity
and you are the reason why we can 'BE'
for a world so diverse
our universe
of fire, gas, water, land, an innocence of infancy
For you are an unimaginable beauty

So unreal, unseen, a forsaken sight
And it all started with a light

This left me speechless. Very well-written, I'd write more but I want to go read your next poem. :)

this poem explains a little why I love the sky and want to see outer space! if u think about it...it all started with a spark but a light can be like...an idea! (cartoons) so all of our stuff got where they are from/by ideas!

I like your imagery and play of words. God is the 'SUN' around which we revolve. Galileo was right after all.
