Why is it when I think of you
I think of clear blue skies?
I think of stars and things I love.
I think of all my sighs.
You've got my mind racing ahead
to times when we're alone.
I used to be able to be satisfied
to just be on my own.

But you've got my body.
You've got my soul
You make me happy.
You make me whole
and if I ever come undone
I know that you're the only one
that can put me back together again
and warm me like the sun.

Why is it that it's hard for me
to picture cloudy days?
I think of the sun that's up above
and I think of all the ways
you touch my heart with thoughts of love.
I will never be able to be satisfied
without your loving gaze.

For you've got my body.
