All Alone Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

All Alone

Rating: 4.6

I could have been better off without him
The chance to live with him became very dim
He never came up honest and very clean
He used to flirt with many and had tendency to lean

All my honor and sanity was at stake
I was not fully prepared or awake
It took for me many more days to decide
The life seemed to me very deep and wide

I was suddenly woke up from dream
I was dragged mercilessly by him
I desperately tried to resist and shout
The relation was to bring an end about

I used to scream and suddenly wake up
Tears may rush from eyes and make me weep
I was unable to maintain calm and hold the nerve
I decided to call it off as no purpose was going to serve

Is the love not precious gift from the almighty?
We always try to protect it from any insanity
Is it worthwhile to ignore and indulge in its abuse?
Why not resist the idea itself and refuse?

It is better to live in isolation than to have relation
There may be lots of problems and questions
If we go in for any unstable life and compromise
We may not be able to sustain with promise

Love can’t be wasted for simple reason
It must be offered to suitable person
You can’t have it in every season
Its effect maybe realized very soon

Can you measure your love in length?
Will it match if it has different wave strength?
It will be total mismatch with nothing new to offer
You may be at logger head and always differ

Love is not for fun sake and is to be adored
Every possibility to honor it must be explored
It is to be lasted for life long and fore
Nothing should be preferred more than love before

It is prudent to say in life love is important
It has wide implications and effect constant
It may make your life worth living
It is to promise and worth believing

It is not that all get love whenever they desire
It is neither for sale nor for hire
You got to praise it all the time and admire
Kindly see to it that it is not put on fire

If you can’t hold it together for time to come
Then try for its perseverance and become
Ardent lover of eternal beauty and fame
It may then be possible not to feel shame
