All Clear Ahead (A Change Of Seasons) Poem by Bryan Taplits

All Clear Ahead (A Change Of Seasons)

Time to to get up
Get in the ring,
Stretch eyes awake
And awake my whole being.
Grab my sultry new vistas
Resolve unrepentant plans,
Solve every new puzzle
With eager elan.
But first… I must take care
Not to voyage too deep,
Revert my position
And fall in a heap.
So I yawn
and stretch arms
Back to bed-soon fast asleep.
'For tomorrow's another day, ' I yell from my dreams,
'Return and re-inflate,
'And with sword in my hand,
'I'll fight and redeem!
'I'll gird all my strength -
'And charge and not wait,
'Yes, tomorrow I'll sack all my rivals-
'But tonight‘s plan: Procrastinate! '
