All I Want Poem by Connie Tallada

All I Want

Rating: 4.5

And I smile while I cry deep inside
I laugh despite the pain that I hide
I have you here right beside me
Yet your thoughts are seem so far away

I fear your every tender touch and gentle kiss
I'm afraid it might be for someone else
When you hug me I silently pray
That your embrace really meant for me

I hate it when you look me in the eyes
I'm scared I will see nothing but lies
And when your hand touches mine
I do hope we are threading the same line

When we thank God as we wake up
I wish that you have same reasons as I have
I may not see it and you might not hear
But there's so much about us that I fear

When I say how much I love you
Please don't say that you love me too
All I want are words that are true
Those feelings that you really do

You have eloquently expressed what you want. As also what you don't. When I say how much I love you Please don't say that you love me too All I want are words that are true Those feelings that you really do I liked this stanza the most.
