All Life's Memories Poem by Peter S. Quinn

All Life's Memories

All life's memories
come and go,
like the leafy trees
in spring's glow.
Times don't standstill
they will move on
for new day's fulfill
until it is gone.

O yesterday was here
with all its ways,
some still are there
as the time plays.
For nothing's to go
but be and to give,
what there's to know
old dreams to revive.

All life's memories
are give and a take,
what is to please
in its new awake.
Times go on and on
in hope's freedom,
the knots never done
of what is to come.
