All Must Cry Poem by Arun Maji

Though my heart torn apart
And soul shadowed with sorrow
I smile. I have to smile.
Else, won't this world mock me?

Man must not cry.
That is what you know, I know,
All know.
But where from?
Who wrote that scared piece of song
"Man must not cry"?

Why we have heart that feels,
Soul that burns, eyes that shade tears?
Why we have pains? We have griefs?

No single entity exists in this universe
That is meaningless.
So is tears.
Tears exists to cleanse our cluttered heart
And heal our wounded soul.
Tears is a way to freedom-
Freedom from our aches and agonies.

I must cry, you must cry,
All must cry.
