All Of Us Belong Poem by Thomas Plotz

All Of Us Belong

I glanced out my window to the street below
Doing so, saw a newly budded tree, beneath me

On this tree,
Appeared to be,2 branches embraced, holding limbs

Moving in the breeze
Swaying with the tree

As the wind blew…
As too, comfort each other, with a branch of support

I went out to look closely at this site…

Nowhere else on this tree did the entanglement occur?
Nor, on the tree next to it

The branch was caught at the bud end
Maybe once the leaf emerges, bending branches will unleash?

I could tear them apart, though with my belief
Those events happen, the chosen relief and aid for a reason

I do not have the right…

Nature did this
Therefore, nature will make the change, if and when

Again - God has made no mistakes
All of us belong, among the snowflakes…here
