All soldiers know the one thing never said
Regarding wars and courage under fire:
Bullets are nameless; you're already dead.
Across the numberless campaigns they've bled.
Enlisted, conscripted, adventurer for hire:
All soldiers know the one thing never said,
The patriotic duty you've been fed
Will not replace the armor you require.
Bullets are nameless; you're already dead.
Exploding ordinance will jar your head,
Will turn whole continents to pits of mire.
All soldiers know the one thing never said:
Men's hearts pump blood that's just as pure and red
As any father's country might desire.
Bullets are nameless; you're already dead.
If peace is why we war, then how I dread
What wars a tranquil future may require.
All soldiers know the one thing never said:
Bullets are nameless; you're already dead.
The patriotic duty you've been fed Will not replace the armor you require. Bullets are nameless; you're already dead. yes bullets are nameles.. what a reality of war.......... for peace we kill in the name of patriotism but on the other hand when the enemies come is there any other option? ?
