All That Glitters Is Not Gold. Poem by bimisola Babalola

All That Glitters Is Not Gold.

Many times or often you have overheard that and have been told
Many of men have their lives to be sold
They have warned you from experience whether young or old
But a woman’s beautiful face is only for behold
It’s not the same as a wicked heart
Which can tear you and your family apart
And although you’ll be left with a sad and broken heart
You’ll be glad to learn the difference of two parts
A beautiful face and a wicked heart
Do not concentrate on only one part
All that glitters is not gold
Soon enough the truth shall unfold.
