All The Rage - Poem by Edwina Reizer

Oh, what personality
they're all the rage.
People adore them
as they embrace the stage.

What is the attraction
affecting you?
Is it just something
that you can't do?

Do they deserve
all this praise?
Or is it we
love to stargaze?

We pay them so much
and glorify their name
and wish that we
could be the same.

And so we develop
idols we love
when they're just people
and not above

the audiences they entertain
for a while.
But oh what personality
and oh what style.
