All You Ever Had To Do Was Look

Rating: 3.5

I’m afraid ill loose myself, the temptation too great.
I’m afraid you’ll never see what really wrong
I’m afraid
I’m afraid you’ll be too late

I keep on screaming and tearing at myself inside trying to make myself heard
But you don’t listen!
The temptation has prevailed
The blades start to cut, the tears pour uncontrollably
But you don’t see
Look at me please! Before it’s too late, please look at me!
I want you to realize what’s wrong
HELP ME, PLEASE, JUST LOOK! Please, just look!
the tears, the screams, the pain, until only silence remains

All I wanted was for you to look, to look and see.
All you had to do was look, and it would have been ok
Sometimes you were so close, it almost made me smile
Sometimes you even joked about it, saying I act the way I act because I’m probably crying and lonely inside, but if you thought that, why did you make a joke of it?
Why?
Well you can forget about it know, because now...Now… now it’s too late
So, who’s to blame you or me?
