There was a girl who wished she could love someone
But was to scared to trust in them
She wanted to believe in herself
But kept getting dragged down by all around

Her pensive stare lets you know
All her problems and fears
Opening her soul to anyone
She doesn’t know who she is anymore

All she wanted
Was to be loved
And all she needed
Was to be loved

There was a boy who wanted to be free
From the things everyone wanted him to be
He just wanted to live a peaceful life
And avoid the flashing camera’s in the night

This sad expression on his face
Wants to escape this life and all he knows
He needs someone to lift him back up again
He doesn’t know who he is anymore

And all he wanted
Was to be free
And all he needed
Was to live again

They both ran far away from home
Hoping they could drown away their pain
They saw the river pulsating near their feet
The icy cold wetness could release everything

But when they saw each others reflection
They stopped everything
Why run away from all your problems?
Why end it all?
