Allowed Anomaly,
Rooted.
Not in shrine,
In sitting room.
A father fell into final sleep,
A brother woke as father,
And compound clapped,
Custom concurred,
Calling wound wisdom.
Royal?
Yes.
Blood is royal,
When lineage is long.
Rumbles?
Yes.
Because what was allowed
Was never addressed.
One boy swallowed knife at thirteen,
Another boy inherited compound at sixteen,
Both learned silence tender,
Both called it respect.
But silence is not settlement.
It is seed.
It is search.
And seed and search waited fifty years,
To sprout as rumbles, as perception, as knowledge,
As meetings without minutes,
As documents without seals,
As throne without record.
Now Diokpala in niche stead stands,
Soft-built, studied, tutored, thorough-bred,
Not asking who took this or that,
Asking who will write truth.
Redressing is not revenge.
Redressing is record.
Recording the root, clearing clean road to right restitution.
Write the fall of 1946,
Write the Nkuchi of 1946,
Write the 28 years of unspoken recluse,
Write the 6-year-old seed planted.
Because until anomaly is written,
Rumble remains royal.
Until rumble is addressed,
Anomaly repeats.
CEMALUK says:
We do not shame fathers,
We correct files.
We do not wrestle in square,
We reclaim with writing.
Allowed yesterday,
Documented today,
Redressed tomorrow,
Restituted forever.
