She cries in the dark, all alone at night
Feeling sad and lonely, feeling the fright
With no one to hold on to
With no one to care
Without anyone to love you
Without anyone to share

No one really knew her, not even her name
Without anyone to hold her, she held all the pain
All the tears and misery
She kept all in her weak heart
Till she was covered in despair
Swallowed entirely by the dark

Broken to pieces, her whole world fell apart
Without a single ray of hope, there was nothing else but the dark
With tears in her eyes
And scars in her heart
With nothing but loneliness and pain
Nothing left but the final curtain
So she closed her eyes gently to put an end to all the misery
To a place where no more heartache can haunt her
