Alone And Cold, But... Poem by james watkin

Alone And Cold, But...

This unaccompanied one;
Roughly outlined
A frosted glass, against
For twilit skies.
Now what's harder to see
Shows what's defined
Shot out, along Time-threads:
Emotional ties.

For which years' pledged length, or
From birth what start
With its own tonal fire
Sparkly vibrate
Does each. Warm, and warmer;
Heart unto heart.
Wife's, parent's. What's lone then?
A blurred chilled state!
