Alone In Myself - Poem by Erik Eriksen

Sinking into myself
drowning into myself
trapped inside myself
lost inside myself

reaching out to no one
screaming out to no one
crying for no one
dying for no one

a dying soul
a empty heart
a wandering brain

alone with these feelings
alone with these thoughts
alone in yourself
alone in myself
alone we are born
alone we will die

Yes, I agree, loneliness can be a very subjective experience. A good poem here.. You may like to read mine entitled Alone. (Report) Reply

That is right, but this poem is more about the feeling of loneliness, one can feel alone with a lot of people. Its not about if you live alone or not. (Report) Reply

Just because we were born alone and we die alone does it mean we gotta be alone? (Report) Reply
