Alone In The Dark Poem by Debbie Casey

Alone In The Dark

The darkness consumes me, this emptiness I can't withstand.
Jesus, can you see me? I'm reaching for your hand.

”Child, I never left you, beside you I AM.
I am in the darkness with you, holding your hand.”

Jesus, I thank you, for making me complete;
for my family and friends, and watching over me.

”I never promised you, a life without pain.
But, I will be with you every step of the way.”

Jesus, I love you, for what you did for me;
your love and your sacrifice have set me free.

”Child, I'll always be with you, beside you I'll stand.
I am the LIGHT that guides you; I was, I will, I AM! ”
