'Alone In The Streets' Poem by Lindemberg Pereira da Silva

'Alone In The Streets'

I was blamed for a mistake that I didn't make,
I was brought to a world that I didn't wait,
I was left for life...
Alone in the Streets.

There was no gift on my birthday,
There were no toys for me to play,
There were no children
or a sweet cake to eat.

No school or book,
No fun or food.

My lonely pray is
someday heavenly father will look at me
and no longer I will be
Alone in the Streets.

Dedicated to all the homeless children in the whole world.
