Always Pleasant Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Always Pleasant

Rating: 3.0

It is always pleasant
When you visit the town at present
It is so because old memories are attached
The town then and now in mind is searched

There is tremendous change
It has changed with the phase
Lots of improvement is seen
It is altogether different scene

New houses have come up with good finish
Old have been razed to ground or demolished
The old routes have been improved
You feel nice and really moved

Childhood memory suddenly rushes
It makes you little kid when it pushes
The school reminds you of naughty days
The old friends and their cunning ways

I used to be cooperative
Not very much reserved or selective
I was loved by all
“Hi lovely and handsome” they may call

One thing has not changed
That is mood of the people have remained
Same with good temperament
And almost same with happy moments
