Just like you, am a human
This is a court Allah blessed and dressed me with
He created, proportioned and balanced me in a form He willed
And out of His favour, He chose me to be a human
Just like you, am a human
In me, inside-out
There's nothing, absolutely nothing made out of gold, silver or any valuable stone you may esteem
Remember, we are all clay
Just like you, am a human
In His image, God created us
He proportioned and balanced us equally
If a mirror can only distinguish us with the colours of our skins?
What a camera can do?
The camera verifies the similarities of us in its black and white picture
A picture that was crafted on a rock
Just like you, am a human
The way she gave birth to you
The pain of labour she passed through
The fatigued tears she shed on her chicks
Ma-mam tested the same
Just like you, am a human
If you take a look at yourself
In such perfect order
Hiding in yourself
Running in your vains
Covered with a skull
A skeleton dressed with a skin of different colors
What about anger, love and pain
And all thimgs you are filling
To us, is it ironic?
Just like you, am a human
Before you still a mirror of ma-mother
A stick of ma granny
A stone pillor of the nations
A lover and loved one of somebody
A teacher, a driver, professor, even a future President
Just know
Ma-heart is immaculate
Ma-soul is innocent
You can break ma-heart and murder ma-soul
But one day, you will pay for it.
Our tears are not much enough to purify you
The constitution to stand by us
Its not the actions of ma-enemy that kills
Its the silence of those who claim to love us
For their love
Softly like chicken we are killed
But before you make a sacrifise of1p ma-life for your worldly treasure
Remember
Am just a human.
