There's nothing wrong with giving up.
They used to say: "You run! Don't stop! "
But it's just nonsense anyways,
As no one has to win the case.
As no one wants to prove its worth.
As no one needs to hide on Earth.
But there's someone who can play;
To make a statement to display.
To manifest amazing life;
To be the one who shines and thrives.
The one who never counts the miles,
And who just lives in lullabies.

You're right, no one's keeping score or solely defining what at amazing life is. That's subjective to only your standards of greatness and satisfaction. Too many submit to norms that are unattainable or, as you put, living in lullabies. Nice write, I like it.
