Amazing Mother Nature - Poem by Francis Duggan

The poets and the artists she always inspire
And of singing her praises could one ever tire
Amazing Mother Nature she keeps on keeping on
One cannot say of her that her better days are gone
The awe that I hold her in only does grow
And people like her Seasons they come and they go
One cannot say of her that her age she does show
The only true immortal of which we do know
She was very old even in the Dreamtime
The artists have sketched her and she inspires poets to rhyme
Her great waterways flow to the ocean shore
She is the one who will live forever more
Of her and her four Seasons Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring
In centuries from now the songmakers will sing.
