Amen For New Beginnings

Amen for new beginnings
Starting afresh with a clean slate
All the past, forgotten and forgiven
Now with grace from the mercy seat
Christ our sin offering, .offering pardon
He as our Light living within
Blessing of... a bright haven for tomorrow
The result of being "born again!

This past year was definetly trying
As we sustained a significant loss
But God again was our sure refuge
His grace available through the Cross
And though grief came in floods at times
His joy maintained us as our strength
With that blessed hope "we'll meet again"
We've coveted that precious thought at length

Amen for new beginnings
Christ is our provision for sin
He can change the vilest of hearts
And give it new thoughts within
By the miraculous work of the Spirit
He takes up His residence
Now living inside He can rule and can guide
Praise God for the fruit of repentance!

Amen for new beginnings
Make your new beginning today
Make a commitment to change
And let Christ rearrange
For He is the Life, Truth, the Way
May His love become your provider
Bask in the love of God
Give Him full surrender it will be a day to remember
And proof that God honors His Word!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
