America's 'Mulberry Bush' Poem by C H Sund

America's 'Mulberry Bush'

Rating: 4.3

Here we go 'round the georgie bush,
The georgie bush,
The georgie bush.
Here we go 'round the georgie bush,
The Democrats are singing.

Line them up and we’ll knock them down
No burning bushes here
No burning bushes here
Line them up and tumbleweed down
The Democrats are singing

Not so fast with those brooms this week,
Brooms this week,
Brooms this week.
Brooms are the backbones of our plans
Republicans responding.

This is the way we’ll repair it all,
repair it all,
repair it all.
This is the way we’ll repair it all
Republicans responding

Here they go 'round the Capital steps,
The Capital steps,
The Capital steps.
Here they go 'round the Capital steps,
Every four years singing! .

The moral of this nursery rhyme:

Each side sings their song
Parades their wares on bridges where
But in the end, yes in the end…
It’s the Economy, Stupid!

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

And the Economy is smucked CH! but like the mulberry bush, it will keep going around and around, I have seen it happen twice thus far in my life, it seems like the American people do not want to bale out the high flyers in Washington and New York....Bush is stupid and stupid is as stupid does and he's done a fine job of fooking the whole damned world up. My money and prayers are on Obama to bring some sanity back to our beautifully tragic world. Have a great weekend, just one thing! can you whistle sprang to mind after hitching my way through your not so rhythmic rhyme! lol grinning at you, Tai
