There's so many ways to tell you,
that i love you as a friend.
and i love you,
cause your there for me until the very end.
though our friendship it is pushed sometimes,
to the limit it is stretched.
if our friendship ever falls apart,
i'll live always with regret.
the river that is flowing,
from my heart to this page.
is the wind forever blowing,
on a cold and lonely day.
when no-one else will listen,
your always here to help.
my eyes will always glisten,
when i know you hear me yelp.
In times of deepest sorrow,
in times of greatest doubt.
i hope that i can help you too,
you only need to shout.
when you can not trust anyone else,
when you feel like your alone.
just call me up and i'll be there,
you only have to phone.
if your heart reaches breaking point,
and you feel you have to cry.
just tell me straight, i'll comfort you,
with tissues for your eyes.
and if our friendship breaks apart,
just know one thing is true.
that you were always here for me,
and i the same for you.
