An Animal With Wings - Poem by Anthony Charles King

why do we scribble so....
dear poets
weeping ink into the void

...and for whom
for whom do we 'bleed'

our soul words
our heart verse

and this muse that summons us so..
for what do we owe such pain and wild abandonement

so to identify to annuncify to immortalize

i am no more a poet than you are a killer...

I love this poem! Its really deep...
But it is because of others we have this pain
And so out pain and sorrow through our words
    : D
    keep writing my fellow poet
