An Anniversary Wish Poem by George Bernard Hough

An Anniversary Wish

Another year has been and gone.

Another one has yet to come.

Life has its ups it has its downs.

It has its smiles it has its frowns.

Marriage, the cement that binds

helps with ills of many kinds.

Your combined love in times of grief

helps bring, emotional, relief.

Togetherness is all you ask

for happiness to fill your` flask.

Your extended family, quite a crowd,

make you hold your` heads up proud.

Our thoughts to you on this famed day

Bear every good wish we could say.

Congratulations to you both with love.

We know more come from up above.
