An Anonymous Love Letter Poem by Namita Rani Panda

In the secret corner of my drawer
I still store the anonymous letter,
that still bears the aroma of roses
and reminds me my Romeo of school days.

With the touch of it my fingers quiver
and my heart hops with endless cheer
when I feel each word of the letter
pregnant with his love so pure.

His words declare his boldness
that express his divine love with confidence,
"You're my dream, life and meditation,
I'm taking your reflection without your permission,
I'll worship you in my poems with much adoration,
Please excuse me if you can as an exception."

And till date I search him every nook and corner
I go on reading poems to find out my anonymous lover,
my heart bleeds poems in honour of his true devotion
as I feel him in every beat of my pulsation.
