Fred Astaire once claimed
that he broke a lot of canes.
Poets have been known
to break their pens, as anger
overcomes, patient
study. O the tools of a
great Artist's trade can
be badly abused! I take
that as a proof of
passion, rather than any
defect that's often
over -psychoanalysed.
Now, in marked contrast,
consider if you will the
amateur dabblers
of these current, wayward times,
I do not detect
much passion or craft in the
painted skeletons
that they like to produce,
ostensibly in,
the mere twinkling of an eye.
Half- baked comes to mind.
Clearly, they lack the flesh of
content, form and style.
Thank goodness, I no longer
have to deal with them.
I believe it would kill me!
