An Egg And Lightening Poem by Abdul Wahab

An Egg And Lightening

Rating: 5.0

I know you do not like breaking
To you breaking is synonymous to evil
Let alone self-breaking
But here i am the lightening ready
to burst into fragments
And show you my beauty in glow
I flash and you look at me
Then you listen to the thunder
I smash down in colour blue
In awe you gap and behold in wonder.

The world is in peril
Everywhere there is destruction
Annihilation in madness
In this juncture I need to burst out
Tear down myself to bear a new life
Upon this soil of weird world
I know they will make my children a roast
Yet I am happy to provide you food
Every saint has a rough history
And every devil has a future
I am giving you a change
And teach you a lesson
Taking away my life for good
Now you wonder who I am
I am the mother of a chicken
A wonderful art of nature
People call me a selfless egg.
