An Honourable Fellow Poem by Francis Duggan

An Honourable Fellow

He is not judgmental in any way
And negative things of others he never does say
Never differentiates between nationalities or skin colour or creed
Of more of his sort the Human World is in need

An honourable fellow of him one can say
He often helps poor people without the rewards of pay
Works hard for his wages he is one who believe
That in life you must give if you wish to receive

One can say of him that his sort are few
He is never verbally forceful on his point of view
On his views anyone he never does offend
And your right to your opinions he will defend

He is one who enjoys laughter in his life
And he loves his neighbours and his fiends and his children and his wife
One of the nicest people on his side of the town
I have yet to seehim looking sad face and down

He is such a positive person of for to know
Since he is one who does have the bright inner glow
Perhaps we all have our flaws though his I cannot see
As a person he is one far better than me.
