An Hour Of Arabian And Egyptian Music Poem by RIC BASTASA

An Hour Of Arabian And Egyptian Music

i close
my eyes it
is deep
in the darkness
of my life and

then i see
a sky filled with
stars
a wide stretch
of desert
a spot of
palm trees
islands and islands
of sands

a tent a horse
a Bedouin
a harem
a sultan

a scabbard
a sword

a scab
a bard salt of this
desert

cold winds and
a scimitar song

an urge of
an oasis and then
the calmness
of a sleeping
desert.....
