An Insomniacs Night Poem by Harrison Williams

An Insomniacs Night

Still awake and waiting to crash,
Gotta get up in the morning and make some cash,
My job and tv is the only thing in my life,
I keep dreaming of a great job and a loving wife,
I also wish for a house on the beach,
I try to obtain this but it's always out of reach,
Maybe it's life's extreme scheme,
Maybe it's a far fetched dream,
It makes me sad, it makes me weep,
But for now I just need to get some sleep,
Waiting for the Sandman to help me out,
But I've got a gut feeling that he's crashed en route,
Seems like nothing's going right,
I'm just gonna wait for the sun to end the night.
