An Insult Or Praise Poem by Randy McClave

An Insult Or Praise

Give me an insult or even praise
But, a family I had to raise
I had a child to coach and also teach
And I had lessons and laws to preach.
That is why you never seen me as much
I had obligations and duties and the such
That choice and thought I would never want reversed
I knew what had to come first.
My family was always the main focus for me
While across any land or any sea
So, think what you want or say what you want to say
I'm just happy that my life ended up this way.
